I have really exciting news that I’ve been holding in for what feels like a decade! I’ll skip to the end because I’m too antsy to drag it out! The lovely team over at Ruche reached out to me a few months ago about creating a small series of exclusive “Ruchette” fashion illustrations that they could sell as prints in their online shop. Obviously I said yes and those prints are now for sale!! To celebrate, we’re doing an Instagram giveaway where you can win one of the prints! Entry is easy. Just read through the caption on this IG post! You can also check out my feature on the Ruche blog here!

Ok, now I can backtrack a little bit. I’ve been following and shopping Ruche for a few years now. I first heard about this adorable brand onย Delightfully Tackyย — probably the first style blog I ever read consistently. I fell in love with the vintage-inspired styles, great prices and just the general attitude of the company. I could tell by the way they interacted with their customers and fans that they were genuine girls with a passion for inspiring and promoting their Ruchette family.

I placed my first order for a mix of kitchen goodies, shoes and clothing, and loved it all. When a company offers more than just products, but a personality that makes me feel like a sister rather than a credit card with eyeballs, I’m hooked. When I started posting more fashion illustrations toย my Instagram account, they saw a few of them and that’s when things snowballed into this awesome collaboration. The more I’ve gotten to know the faces behind this brand, the more I love them!

Don’t forget to check out the prints on their site and buy one before they’re gone! Or two! Or all four! And don’t forget to enter the Instagram giveaway for a chance to win one of these exclusive pieces! P.S. I’m a little obsessed with how they hung them with vintage clipboards. SUCH an adorable way to display art prints!

What creative ways would you display your Ruchette print? I can’t wait to hear your ideas!

  2. LOVE the prints! I’m reminded of when I was a young girl with paper dolls and my mom taught me to trace the tabbed ‘clothing’ onto regular paper so I could design my own creations to hang on my paper dollies.

Congratulations on your collaboration effort. Best wishes for continued success!

Thank youu!! And YES! Paper dolls!! They were one of my first inspirations to be honest. Being able to draw my own figures and dress them up with ink was the same kind of fun I would have for HOURS with those little things. <3
